ALO Sterile bifurcated needle - widely considered the gold standard by which all other skin test devices are compared.

The ALO bifurcated needle is a sterile, disposable, two-tined needle for in-vivo diagnostic skin testing using the puncture technique-a rapid, simple, and reproducible procedure. The bifurcated needle is 6.6cm long, with 0.7mm between the tines. Each needle is individually sterilized and sealed in 5 strip packs, available in packages of 100.

The bifurcated needle may be used with any commercially available allergenic extract for in-vivo diagnostic puncture skin testing to assess a patient's reactivity to a particular allergen.

Quanti-Test System™
For practitioners interested in the lowest cost device for simultaneously applying eight allergy skin tests, we feature the Quanti-Test multiple applicator test system. Quanti-Test has been clinically proven to be as good or better than every other currently available multiple test device despite its considerably lower price. The table to the left summarizes some key features of the Quanti-Test product.

The Quick-Test System will produce small positive reactions without false negative reactions. The smaller positive reaction is because penetration depth is limited, avoiding intradermal delivery of prick test extracts. The Quanti-Test System also offers an individual applicator known as Sharptest.
